… gaze on!
We spent the long weekend (Victoria Day) in Ottawa at the Tulip Festival. Instead of motoring, we hopped on the train on Friday morning with the only daughter and went clickety-clack, clickety-clack.
Ridin’ the rails, baby!
Didn’t want to experience traffic snarl. Didn’t want to pay parking fees. So we hoofed, taxied, and bussed everywhere. But mostly we hoofed.
Take that Fitbit!
You might see a click or two of Ottawa and its Tulip Festival over the next week or two.
This was clicked on a tramp from Lansdowne Park to Dow’s Lake. It’s a beautiful walk along Queen Elizabeth Drive, which runs along the western edge of the Rideau Canal. I could live in just that spot. Oh, yes. I could.
Here be Hump Day.
Let’s just gaze on it.
I’m back!
Again.
And I missed y’all so much.
Elen
It looks beautiful. Did you stop and smell the roses? Or, were there any roses to smell? Glad you had a wonderful time.

I don’t recall seeing any roses yet. But I did sniff all the blossoms in the land. 😉

Love the photo in both quality and irony. You went to a tulip festival and took pictures of magnolias 🙂 Yay for spring in Canadaland!
