Monday Vibe!
The bad hair day of the gardenscape. I totes look like this some Monday mornings.
So…
Holiday lights and decorations are going up all over my neighborhood. I, on the other hand, will be flying by the seat of my holiday pants this December.
I spent Sunday with Geek Girl and a IKEA box of nine drawers. Who knew a drawer could require so many gizmos and screws and wooden pegs? Times nine. City Kitty supervised from under the sofa. This is her default position. She does chores under there too.
Leaves need rakin’.
And that is not a political statement.
And Monday is in the house.
We’re in the work-cook-paint zone. Not necessarily in that order.

Expecting pictures of the B4, during and after. And, of course, stay nice 2 ea other during the redo…s (otherwise, it would have been ‘redooz’)

Hahahaha. Yes, we’re managing to remain on speaking terms. 😉 Yes, pics in January. After this week’s push, I’m enjoying the rest of December.

Oh, yeah, I’m not writing another story until you read my ‘Sweet Sapphires’. It’s a sad commentary on us Seniors, meant to be totally serious…like me🤪

I know you have. And I’m going to get to reading it. Just one more week of painting. Then it stops until January. Cheers!

I just braved the snow storm (not to mention horrendous lines) to grocery shop for Thanksgiving treats. Thankfully I got everything I needed, but at $52 for 2 lbs of crabmeat I’m doubting if I really love our friends that much.

Wowza. I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving, River. What did you do with that crabmeat?

A full tray of crabmeat toasties. Creamy cheesy crabby deliciousness!

Holy crabmeat, Batman! Now, that’s the stuff dreams were made of.

Who’d of thunk that by mentioning the raking of leaves a person could make a political statement! Strange times, indeed. 🙄
