Caught up in the Moment!

Deadheading the daylilies in the frontscape yesterday, I looked up and saw a few butterflies and bumbly bees flitting and feeding around this coneflower. I managed to capture one. There was a swallowtail on the opposite side, but the opening of the wings and the click of the smartphone did not meet. Gah!

That swallowtail outsmarted my smartphone.

Yesterday, that frontscape was humming with all sorts of insects. It’s what I built it for.

Is it wrong on Monday to be already thinking about the long weekend coming to Ontario this weekend?

Is it? Is it?

And Monday is in the house.

Time to do your work thang.
