Bright Lights Swiss Chard!
I can’t believe my little seedling is 7 days old today.
They grow up so quickly.
Quick and dirty Friday post, aka a Blog Quickie.
We’re all about the ‘quick’ word today.
It’s the quickest way to get to…
… Here be Friday.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…

Thank you, Eric. I still have peppers and lettuce to do. And a few other things. I can’t wait until I can do it all outdoors. Early days though. Cheers!

Are you celebrating the one week? Soon they will leave home, won’t they….

Hahahaha. Good one, Otto. I’ll be kicking some of them to the outdoors by the end of April. Some will board longer. 😉

A question: what is the round charcoal looking object? An observation: when I was younger and growing up, another form of the ‘quick’ was quite prominent…maybe I just never grew up

Those are seed pellets, Steve. They look like flat, round disks when you get them. You set them in a tray of water until they go Poof! just like those magic animal pellets kids get, throw in the bathroom sink, and grow dinosaurs and minions and who knows what else. Anyway, once the disks have puffed up with moisture you add a seed or two to in the top center and it/they germinate. If you’re lucky. This works for me because I’m not doing whole flats of one particular plant. Hm. Nestle’s Quik? Bisquick? Is this a quick we can discuss on this blog? Cheers.
