Boom!
Remember last Hump Day? Imprinting…
Picking tomatoes every day now.
I guess all that foot-tapping paid off.
Here be Hump Day.
Let’s just all run outside and play.
Just kidding. We have to start prepping for excavators professional diggers coming to dig around the outside of the house in two sections and the last of the new fencing. And by prepping I mean removing a lot of plant material to a holding area. A lot. Let the games begin.
It’s just those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer, folks.
You could run outside and play though.
Just sayin’.

While reading the going outside and play part I thought of a friend of mine who after his last birthday said, “I just want to keep climbing trees and eating avocados π₯.”
I thought it was funny and today I am at work (gardening) and having my lunch (eating macadamia nuts π₯). It’s not playing but pretty darn close. Good luck with the plant transfer and the final installation of the fence. There won’t be many lazy, hazy days like this.

No there won’t be. You’re right about that, Kellie. It was a great day to be outdoors. π

We’ve got lettuce and carrots and green onion and peppers and pumpkins thriving. Except we’ve had some cold spell. Hope they don’t get too cold. It’s still August! Good luck getting those plants to their holding area!

The weekend was great! This might be the first successful year for our carrots! Can’t wait for that garden fresh salad. Next year I’m adding spinach to the garden. And cucumber and croutons?

I always grow spinach and Swiss chard. Let me know how those croutons work for you. I might want to grow them myself. π

It sounds like you have a big landscaping project in front of you. Excavators? This can only mean work. Of course being outside is so wonderful in the summer that maybe it won’t seem like work at all!

Actually, Ally, repairing some foundations leaks. We’re done with the big landscaping projects. I just have to shift things temporarily while work is being done for 63 feet of fencing and the foundational work. Now, if I were a grass grower, this would not be an issue. π
