Gimme Dat!
I’m so ready for a new season of tomato crop. I haven’t even put mine in the garden yet. They’re just hangin’. Hangin’ out on the patio. These are Chadwick toms from 2014.
How does your garden grow?
In Other News ~
In yesterday’s post I asked:
Sci-Fi or Fantasy?
Then name your favorite book or movie in that genre.
It’s okay to say I’m just not that into it.
I’m a fantasy genre gal. Two fave authors are Mercedes Lackey and Guy Gavriel Kay (Canadian author). If you haven’t read his The Fionavar Tapestry (The Summer Tree, The Wandering Fire, The Darkest Road) and you love fantasy, then you must.
That being said, I have read a lot of Isaac Asimov.
Surviving and thriving on Day 2 of the Jamie Oliver’s 5-Day Veggie Challenge,we had inhaled the Super Couscous Salad for lunch, and I fixed today’s Pistachio Pesto Pasta Salad lunch for last night’s dinner. We just weren’t into the noodle bowl. Personal prefs. Pics posted on Instagram here.
FYI ~ Due to so many peeps wishing they had registered for this week’s veggie challenge, Chef Oliver has decided to offer it again beginning this coming Monday (21 May). Go ahead. Click on the link above and register. You know you want to.
Here be Hump Day.
One day closer to Victoria Day Weekend. Shimmy!
