Night Snow!
Happy March! Happy March! Happy March!
See Elen twirl.
Twirl and whirl.
We had what I hope is the last Big Snow on Wednesday. This was taken at night by the sidewalk during what I hope is the last Big Shovel. I caught just a few little light twinkles on the snow.
True Confessions ~
I don’t like missing the beginning of a movie, the same as I wouldn’t like missing the opening words of a book. G-Man will attest to this. It can get ugly.
When I buy a Kindle book, I always click from where they think I want to start reading the book to the cover. And click through until the opening page. The story is a journey, and I would never ever peek at the last page first.
It reminds me of that Friends episode where Ross and Rachel have kissed. She floats into the apartment where Phoebe and Monica are and announces that they’ve had the kiss. Phoebe and Monica jump into action. Monica runs for wine and glasses. Her actions scream Don’t say another word! They settle on sofa and chair, eyes bright, leaning forward…
Now. Start from the beginning.
We all have our quirks, peculiarities. Some of us have more than others.
Here be Friday. The beginning of the weekend.
Let’s get outta here.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…
Elen
I’d hoped we were through with snow as well, but we’re due for it Saturday and again on Monday. Sigh.
As for books and movies? I’m totally with you… start at the very beginning or don’t start at all!

Sigh. I’m sure we’ll have more, too. I’m just hoping we won’t get 8-10 inches at a time. Amen, sister!

As an English Lit major I was taught to read the first chapter of a novel, then read the last one or two chapters. This way you’ll know which characters make it to the end so you can follow them throughout the story. I don’t always do that anymore, but sometimes I do. How quirky is that?

That’s quirky. I could only do that for a degree program, and then I might seriously have to consider changing majors!

Will you be the one wearing the gardenia? (Perry Mason). More snow on the way Sunday night. I never watched one full episode of ‘Friends’. But I loved Seinfeld. So, ok, I’m a dinosaur!
