Come to Me!
In struts Ms. Spring.
Queen for a day.
And then it’s back to business as usual.
We’ll take what we can get.
And what we’re getting today in my neck of Canadaland is 50 Fahren with mostly sunshine.
Tomorrow? That’s a differently matter altogether. A bird of another feather. An alternate sitch.
It’ll be back to winter basics.
Do I care?
I do not.
For today I will revel in the first day of spring. I will embrace my 50 Fahren with every fiber of my being… and the additional fiber I’m having for breakfast.
Bye-bye, so long, farewell.
See you back in winter tomorrow.
The end.
Elen
Today is 49 here, with some lovely sun. But like you, it’s not going to last. Snow showers Saturday. Ah well, it was nice while it lasted.

Grin. Thank you, Steve. Hey, you used the British/Canadian spelling of fibre. Cool.

Elen, the extent of my foreign travel is Canada (I’m so boring). Had customers/prospects around Toronto, Belleville (loved staying at what I believe was the Ramada Inn…was it the Ramada, on the water…nice restaurant), Bracebridge (beautiful up that way…the Inn At The Falls…excellent Grand Marnière…aren’t they always), around London. And when I would attend sales mtgs in Detroit, I’d always go the Canadian route up to a fav bridge, the Blue Water Bridge. I loved traveling into Canada and it so sophisticated and classy with all the ‘ballet’ shows…my, my, my🙀😂

Canada is a beautiful country. Have you been to Ottawa? Quebec? East? I’ve yet to go out west. I want to do that by train with a rail pass for hopping on and off. #goals I used to live in the Windsor area across from Detroit. And I’ve lived in the Niagara Region. Yes, I’ve used that Blue Water Bridge at Sarnia many times traveling to Michigan.

Would love to go east. My daughter accompanied me on business to Bombardier in Quebec Provence (she spoke French, me, un peu, so it was fun. We saw a moose in Algonquin Park. I doubt I’ll get to see them but when you write about it, then ‘I’ve been there’…😁

Hoping that you get to me queen for more spring days soon. It’s rainy and gray here today which is better than snow, but still not gorgeous. I want gorgeous, darn it!

I hope spring becomes supreme! Yes, it’s rainy and gray here today, too. I can see a lot of grass, but the really high mounds of snow have not disappeared yet. They are just receding. I call it ‘traffic snow’. That gray, grungy, dirty…
