Peony Love!

These are my favorite frontscape flower. I love the bold, brash peony, especially this pink/yellow combo.

Let’s face it. They don’t last long. But while they’re here, it’s a sight to behold.

In Other News ~

I survived my first week of 52Stories52Weeks and Flash Fiction. Right now, they are overlapping until the month-long Flash Fiction course is finished.

The first story had to be a murder in 250 words. I popped my murder cherry. First murder evah.

This week, it’s a love story of no more than 500 words. The twist for me is that I already write contemporary romance, so I’m taxed with writing in another sub-genre — historical, paranormal, sci-fi.

Cracks knuckles. This should be interesting.

I need a new playlist. Stat.

In Other, Other News ~

I might be in love with that ultra short haircut after all. It still sticks out in all directions when I get up in the morning, but it slicks down quick and easy. Okay… maybe a little cowlick.
