Bring me all the titles in the land.
Click that baby bigger. She is so gorgeous.
I can’t remember the name of this thirsty hanging basket of posies. Help me, y’all. And even though it likes full sun, I had to find a shady spot for this little beauty, because three days ago it looked like it had passed.
Note: Calibrachoa. That is what it is. Thanks to LOL Sister for the info and this link to many more colors. I’m partial to Cherry Lemonade. It’s making me thirsty.
It’s sitting on the charcoal grill underneath the eaves. We’ve grilled twice, no three times, this summer. It’s just too dang hot. Our summer routine this year is to roast a chicken and some veggies — or just some veggies — in the morning so the heat escapes before the hottest part of the day. That and salads. Lots of salads. And BLTs. The G-Man has taken over bread making. My butt was heading towards supersizing just putting the dough bucket together.
The tomatoes are finally turning, so we’re moving into my favorite breakfast season. Pretty much anything with sliced tomatoes and a grind of black pepper and a sprinkle of kosher salt on a

tomato slices sans anything — avocado + tomato slices — egg fried in olive oil + tomato slices — cooked bacon + tomato slices — cheese + tomato slices
And so it goes. That last can be cold, open-faced under the broiler, or a full-out grilled cheese and tomato sandwich.
I might have a freakish attachment to tomatoes. My love knows no bounds.
Spill. Do you have a freakish attachment to tomatoes? If you do, what’s your favorite way to eat them? If you don’t, we can still be friends.
Here be Hump Day.
Have a tomato and dream of the weekend.
