Hot fun in the summertime…
Aka rudbeckia.
Sly and the Family Stone released a record of the same title in August of 1969, so it seems only fitting. It’s sizzling here, baby. Their song had nothing to do with rudbeckia. Just to clarify.
This yellow is not so mellow.
It’s more in the line of the Polar Express Hot Chocolate song — Hot, hot!
Hot sun. Hot yellow.
Time for a cooldown!
Hydrangea. The bees like it. A lot.

What I’m playing on repeat today — Summer in the City (Lovin’ Spoonful, 1966). Here’s a fun video clip on YouTube. Click on over.
Got anything on repeat today besides the heat?
Tell me.
Here be Friday.
You know what to do. Meet you in the bar in 3…2…1…
Happy weekend, y’all.
