Who has seen The Bookshop? Anybody?
Here’s a link to a trailer.
It’s a 2017 drama (2018 USA) set in 1959 in a small town in East Anglia. Emily Mortimer, Bill Nighy, Hunter Tremayne, Honor Kneafsey.
I can’t wait to see it. Date night this weekend.
Love, love, love a good period drama.
I’ll Take Your Answers ~
Since we’re talking about movies, what’s your favorite period drama?
Maybe it’s not a film, but a television series.
It’s okay to say I’m just not that into ’em! So then, comedy? Action? Fantasy? Sci-fi?
Entertain me with your entertainment preferences because in 3…2…1, I’m going to be chained to the paint.
Tuesday, y’all.

The Painted Veil looks like great drama. Putting that in the viewing hopper. PBS does wonderful productions. I especially loved the early series with the original Helen.

let me know if you like Veil… it’s one of my faves! And if you liked the PBS series, you should read the books. Collections of short stories, and if you love animals as I do…. you’ll laugh…. and weep.
